Ever since I was a child, I have been passionate about the written word. All throughout my formative years, I could be found with my nose in a book, lost in another world centuries and miles away, completely oblivious to the world around me. As a creative person, I once thought I wanted to be an artist when I grew up (or an archeologist, with my love of all things historical), but discovered that I was much better at painting with words than with brushes.
After a six-year stint as a weather technician in the Air Force, I completed my bachelor's degree in history from the University of St. Francis and eventually found my way to the world of journalism (after all, everyone has a story to tell). I have been blessed to travel to Rome during this time and report on events there. It was on my first trip to Italy that I felt inspired to publish the manuscript I have worked on for many years, and which will be available soon through The Wild Rose Press. I find this name to be fitting, since it's been a wild ride to get to this point, and I am incredibly grateful to be here.
I hope you all enjoy my debut novel, "To Tame the Storm" and come back for updates on my current works in progress!

I will do my best to get back to you soon!
